2018 Next Awards: Borchetta, Cigarran, Samuels inducted into Hall of Fame

More than 500 people attended the Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s 2018 Next Awards Wednesday.
The event included the induction of three high-profile business leaders into the Entrepreneurs’ Hall of Fame:

  • Scott Borchetta, founder and CEO of Big Machine Label Group
  • Tom Cigarran, co-founder and AmSurg Corp. and HealthWays and chairman of the Nashville Predators
  • Ron Samuels, founder of Avenue Bank and vice chairman of Pinnacle Financial Partners’ board

The awards, designed to recognize the entrepreneurs and startups making a significant impact on Middle Tennessee’s economy, also recognized:

  • Entrepreneur of 2018: Michael Burcham, Narus Health
  • Young Entrepreneur of 2018: Josh Durham, Weighting Comforts
  • Family Business Market Mover: Advance Financial
  • Family Business Startup: 312 Pizza Company
  • Healthcare Market Mover: AxialHealthcare
  • Healthcare Startup: GreenLight Medical
