axialHealthcare is seeking an experienced data integration developer who can provide enterprise-wide technical and development expertise. Ideally, this is an extremely technical individual-contributor role requiring initiative, independence and drive, an ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and an ability to perform a wide variety of responsibilities. As a data integration developer, this individual will be assigned to critical projects requiring attention to detail and the ability to find technical solutions to complex business problems.


  • Design and develop ETL and data processing solutions using data integration tools, python scripts and AWS based services
  • Develop technical data processing specifications, design, develop, test, implement, and support optimal data solutions
  • Document data mappings, data dictionaries, processes, programs and solutions as per established standards for data governance
  • Integrate development with existing projects to maximize object reuse
  • Create, execute, and document unit test plans for ETL and data integration processes and programs
  • Work with the data analytics team to assess and troubleshoot potential data quality issues at key intake points such as validating control totals at intake and then upon transformation, and transparently build lessons learned into future data quality assessments
  • Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation in existing data processes, mapping and workflows in production
  • Troubleshoot data issues and defects to determine root cause
  • Performance tune data processes and SQL queries, and recommend and implement data process optimization and query tuning techniques
  • Develop and create transformation queries, views, and stored procedures for ETL processes, and process automation


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant field
  • Expertise in developing complex, legible and well-structured scripts and queries in SQL
  • 4+ years of experience as an ETL developer with strong data architecture knowledge around data warehousing concepts, SQL development and optimization, and operational support models
  • Experience working with large data repositories and/or relational databases
  • Experience with Talend & AWS Glue is highly preferred
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in both technology and business environments
