We are looking for a healthcare leader to join our Product Management team. The VP of Clinical Product Strategy will utilize health domain knowledge and health IT application experience to participate in defining and executing axial product development and direction. A successful candidate will be able to harness their deep understanding of the health care environment to envision and define highly usable solutions that quickly and effectively solve customers’ clinical and strategic problems.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and/or lead in the strategic direction, feature design, user interaction, requirements, and roadmap of one or more products and solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with team members to bring new features and products to successful release
  • Communicate with current and potential customers on a regular basis to understand their processes and needs, translate those into product requirements, understand needed changes over time, and help customers get the greatest value from axial solutions
  • Represent the clinical “voice of the customer” internally, using healthcare domain experience in guiding product design and development
  • Collaborate on overall axial product strategy, roadmap, and cohesiveness with colleagues on the Product Management team, who possess a range of health expertise
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert in one or more health domain areas
  • Understand and advise on relevant health care trends, including new products, regulatory changes, scientific and medical advances, and changes in practice
  • Participate in evaluation of studies of the impact of axial solutions on quality, safety, and efficiency metrics, and create process improvements based off these studies
  • Participate in the healthcare professional community and in national conferences as needed to maintain axial representation and maintain knowledge of the health care landscape

Requirements

  • Practical clinical experience (nurse RN/NP, or PA), and practical operational experience in healthcare organizations (quality, care management, care coordination, health care analytics, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience clinical and health care industry experience (plan, provider, etc)
  • Demonstrated domain expertise with a clear understanding of healthcare workflows and practical use of information
  • Previous experience working with healthcare application design at an in-depth level, in industry or with a provider organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to lead teams to success in implementing new product and solutions, and exert influence over colleagues who do not report directly to you; ability to work in matrix environment
  • Experienced in analytics for quality and process improvements
  • Ability to work directly in both team and individual settings, including working directly with customers
